Online Armor Freedetects and removes spyware, trojans and attacks Phishing threats. It works by studying the behavior of programs running on your system and if it detects something suspicious, immediately blocks it from operating or warns you. The program then verifies this behavior alongside its own database of threats to identify exactly what it is.
When Online Armor Free detects a potentially dangerous program it displays a warning message. However, it avoids overwhelming the user with a large number of alerts because on first use, it asks you to define a white list of safe programs. In addition to this basic function, Online Armor Free also includes a firewall and tools for detecting trojans, unauthorized executable files and protection for e-mail and browsing etc.
Online Armor Free is an all-in-one protection suite although don't be surprised if it doesn't detect all that it promises because it is free and as such, is not designed for those that need very high protection levels.

Password protection.
Don't use there password protector. I did and had it for a long time, took it on and off many times for downloads, never changed it. Woke up one day and it no longer worked. ASked for help and they where totally rude with me
Pros:
Great virus protection and IF the password worked right it would make for great hacker lock down.
Cons:
Password protection locks up after some updates and you can no longer repair or remove the issue. So It's best you do not use it. There help is minimal and rude if they just do not want to listen. More

Online Armor Free is the most balanced free Firewall available. It's very secure and pretty easy to use as well. Using Online Armor Free let's you know you have a little bit of everything wrapped up into one and may make you wonder how this product can be free.The downside to Online Armor Free is it's not as customizable as Comodo Internet Security, Privatefirewall, or ZoneAlarm Free. It also has times where it freezes up and crashes.Overall if you want the most balanced firewall that offers a little bit of everything then Online Armor Free is the perfect firewall for you. Just remember it's not tops in any category just the most balanced available for free.

Excellent Firewall.
This is an excellent Firewall with a great display of all activity in the network. Because it's the free version it is missing some of the more advanced features, but most will not miss these features. I must say it was one of the easiest I have ever setup and though it asks more questions during setup, after a restart it just works. Yes it will ask a few questions here and there but for the most part After I finished the first restart it is running without getting annoying asking me about every program. They do collect basic information about the programs you allow, but I consider this good as it will allow them to update the program to ask less questions in the long run when installing. I consider this a great product. I have to wonder about the low ratings I see here, they don't seem correct, are they for the older version? For a good review look at matousec.com.
